About Your Therapist

My name is Melissa Morphis-Jones and i'm a Missouri Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I have 13 years of professional massage experience and I absolutely love what I do. I'm passionate and excited about massage therapy and what it can do for you and your body. It's amazing to me how your body can heal and repair itself with regular massage treatments and other healthcare regimens.

Being plagued with tension headaches and migraines my entire life, and after trying all kinds of medications and epidurals for my symptoms, I finally tried massage on a regular basis and guess what? It works! Now don't get me wrong, I still have my occasional headache and migraine, but massage has helped so very much. My biggest problem, like many of you, is tension. It builds and builds causing aches, tightness and knots that never would go away. Those muscles that are all tied up are getting no nutrients, fresh blood or oxygen and your cells become stagnant and toxic almost like a kink in a hose. By receiving massage on those muscles and trigger points, you are forcing the body to return fresh blood flow to those areas in need. This is when the tension releases causing you to feel better and relax. Staying hydrated has much to do with this too. This is the reason I became a massage therapist. I know that so many people are out there suffering from chronic pain, like headaches, back aches, joint pain, etc., and in most cases a good therapeutic massage can mean a world of difference. Call me to schedule an appointment today. It's time to start feeling better. What do you have to lose except for the pain and stress?
